Creating a memorable brand with Hear At Duke
Hear at Duke is a student organization that believes in the power of audio documentary as a way to spread ideas inside the campus. I designed the brand's identity and was in charge of producing content for the group's Instagram. The account rapidly gained popularity among the student body.
The challenge was to find a way to use Instagram, a fundamentally visual platform, to promote audio storytelling. Pairing video portraits with audio stories kept Hear at Duke relevant on Instagram's visual landscape and, simultaneously, allowed us to share the magic of audio. For a year, I interviewed students across campus and produced daily audio and video content.
